We are pleased to announce that Mission Manna has hired a new Community Health Agent to work in Fond-Baptiste. Her name is Rosemela Saintelia and she was one of three finalists for the job, all of whom took part in a competitive examination process administered by Eddy Prophete. Rosemela will work closely with the families enrolled in Mission Manna’s Sustainable Nutrition Project.

Baby Rabbits
December 13th, 2010As you can see, Gary Maurice is having great success with the rabbit-rearing aspect of the Sustainable Nutrition Project. He is also involving in the project the families who are temporarily housed on Mission Manna’s property in Montrouis. This will enable them to be able to more quickly move forward with their lives. Here we see some of the children helping Gary to feed and care for the rabbits.
We will soon begin distribution of the rabbits into the Montrouis families in our program. We will then branch off into Fond Baptiste and beyond.
